SPIRAL - a duo of Althea Lambert and Warwick Hill from Hastings Spiral have a programme called “The Twists and Turns of Love - an eclectic mix of songs for the heart.”

Warwick and Althea play a mix of contemporary, blues, jazz and folk songs, weaving a variety of acoustic instruments, including guitars, bass, mandolin, and hand drums, in with their superb harmonies.

Althea’s vocal style and stage presence, full of energy and passion, defy comparison.  Warwick had a background in rock music before transferring his many musical skills to the folk scene in the 1990s.  Together these very talented performers present a musical experience which uplifts your spirit and draws you in to the vibrancy and passion of their unique style.

Spiral also appear at Levin Folk Club on Friday 9 May, Horowhenua Scottish Society Hall, corner of Bartholomew Road and Middlesex St, 7:30pm. Admission $5, supper provided. Open blackboard first half - one song each.
