Dan Gallagher Short Concert

Sunday 20 September, 2nd Half of Open Mic Night

Toi Poneke

67 Abel Smith St

UK based former drummer Dan Gallagher has reinvented himself as a singer songwriter and now creates emotive pieces of work in which he intertwines delicate acoustic melodies and warm vocals. Love, Loss, Escapism, Sanctuary and Rejuvenation are some of the subject matter covered.

It is clear to hear influences such as Damien Rice, Ray Lamontagne, Bon Iver and Jose Gonzales in his work with passionate and inspiring lyrics written from an autobiographical stance.

Dan is performing some songs from his first EP, From a place called all of a sudden, due to be available for download through ITunes and Amazon, along with new material.

Dans constant determination for growth and inspiration is taking him around the world where he is planning to let other cultures inspire his music, his photography and his outlook. He is keen to share his music with those who will listen.
